Maxim Grunin Paintings, September 2022

Thanks for tunning in. I love creating through art and I wish everyone who is enthusiastic about being an artist luck, inspiration, and motivation. Let the gift shine. It took me many years to settle in my being. I found myself a lot more whole around the age of 50. I am grateful for the help and the opportunity to be well.

Painting images in this post are sized 10"X10" and 16"X20". They are landscapes made with acrylics on canvas.

Maxim Grunin - Birch Grove Series 2022, 10"X20"

Happy to share images of my work from July & August 2022. I am definitely interested in the process of creating paintings. The whole fun and play involved in using art supplies, mixing paint, arranging colors on  canvas, draw me in. This body of work is based on my appreciation for mother nature and the forest. There is beauty to be discovered within correlation of trees, plants, and how they visually work together with all other elements of landscape.

Manitoulin, souvenir miniature paintings, 5"X5", exterior acrylic on recycled wood, UV proof glossy topcoat, 2022. Some examples of work I create using Reused & Recycled materials, such as salvaged wood and left over house paint. I enjoy creating under the banner of - Action for the Environment. Using salvaged, 2nd life art supplies reduces my demand for buying newly manufactured commodity items. This work is a lot of fun to envision & make. It enables me to participate in the life of local community, by appearing on the shelves of gift shops and outdoor market stalls. I really enjoy being part of grassroots activities.
