Maxim Grunin - Biography

I was born in Russia in 1975 and attended art lessons since childhood. I hold a masters in Fine Art from the University of Waterloo.

My passion for visual arts, drawing and painting in particular, is the driving force at the core of my personality. I enjoy my work on a profound level. I am also a dedicated scholar of art, who probes his field of study for new grounds. My work addresses landscape, figure, still life and abstraction. I often combine subjects and methods together to illustrate my narrative.
